Crypt of the NecroDancer puts you in the role of young Kadence, an adventurous amateur, who is a necromancer, that is, a necrotizer, took the heart. By knocking at the regular pace of heartbeat and music from which each level of procedurally generated dungeons is cleared, our heroine will penetrate deeper and deeper into this hole of rhythmic corruption, faced with fantasy creatures who likewise love to bend over the tiles.
The Cadence, as well as the alternate characters you unlock during play, are controlled with four cursor keys or with an electronic dance pad. Opposites and crave your opponents by slamming them in, taking them into the dance to the side or sleeve, not in the direction of movement, otherwise you lose part of the health line.

In the case of simple opponents, such as carnivals that hang around or worse, it's simple, but when faced with something nasty, the challenge of movement in the rhythm, attack and defense is progressively complicated.
